Trained in Arabic, Egyptian and Turkish style Belly Dance as well as Bollywood, Central Asian and Persian and Turkish Romani, I am delighted to be a part of your next wedding, anniversary party, girls night out, birthday, corporate or social event. I love bringing my joy and smile to delight audiences of all ages, backgrounds and cultures — all of course in a family friendly and respectful way!
As a multi-award winning artist, Berna is a sought-after top professional who has taught and performed in numerous public and private events throughout the US and Canada. Berna is an instructor teaching classes at online and in Pittsburgh, PA.
Berna has been a featured dancer in numerous restaurants in Washington DC, Maryland, Northern Virginia and Pittsburgh, PA. She has graced the stage of the International Turkish Festival, the Byham Theater, Hard Rock Cafe, the Rex Theatre, University of Pittsburgh and many other universities, Washington Symphony Orchestra, and numerous gala shows. |
Often working with the local and national professional dancers, she is also delighted to work with Ishtar, Pittsburgh's Belly Rock Band, and other live music groups.
Blending cultural and stylistic elements with traditional movements, she is honored and ecstatic to share her art with the community. Adept at using props as well, she has amazed audiences with performances using swords, canes, baskets, skirts, veils, fans and candles.
